Lately I've been thinking. As the days pass, a lot of changes really take place. And as I look back, the moments that seem to have just passed is already far, far away. This is how time really flies. Anyway, the architect who took the burden in designing the house really did a very very good job. He really got the design that mom and I pictured out in mind. for short-term goal, the living room is about to be finished. =) As graduation gets nearer and nearer everyday,I get more and more excited. I think it's because of the idea that I'll be able to work and earn. a busy life makes everything really fast. It's as if time is dragging you already and you are not that aware of it. Maybe this is why I love this kind of life! =D Because it makes everything in fast forward, don't you think? During the past few days, as usual, life for me was 'dragging'. I got to wake up early for a 7 o'clock class then it ends at 11 o'clock. after that, rush to the college m...

A New Sunday

This is a post which I was supposed to post yesterday. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the laptop due to sibling rivalry LOL so here it is: Today was a great day. Although I kinda started it in a bit "may sayad" way. It's because I arrived late in Church but the service earlier was a total blast. After church I always stay in dad's office to surf the net. LOL But recently I found a more productive way to spend my Sunday afternoon. I arranged a schedule with my friends to record songs every Sunday afternoon. Today was our first recording session, although this wasn't the first time we recorded a song, but it was the first time we used the Mac book to record and had my childhood friend (and duet partner eversince) to record with us. I have really been wanting to have a condenser microphone but unfortunately I can't find one around. And I still don't have that much resources to purchase a high-end one. These stuff really come very expensive and I am st...

"ESPRIT OF MORALE"

Something I wrote supposedly for the college mag. But I changed my mind so I just posted it here. I wanted to do a series. Hopefully, it'll push through here. =) This story, as I'd describe it, is like a simulation of college life particularly in the Philippines. It aims to connect with the Filipino youth. I'll incorporate as much "similar" or "common" Pinoy youth stories and situations as possible. "ESPRIT OF MORALE" It was a cold Thursday afternoon. After my first day in English class, I decided to get my I.D. and then pay for my P.E. uniform afterwards. The sky was gray and I felt the tiny drops drizzling from above. So I pulled my new jacket that I bought from the mall yesterday out of my backpack and started to make faster steps towards the gym. The drizzle became heavier so I had to run. Good thing, I was nearing the gym’s gate. When I got there, I kept my jacket back in my bag again ‘cause its too warm inside to wear it. The queues were ...

Hello there! I'm Ian Lemuel Caballes, people call me Ian, Lemuel or sometimes Lee. I am a 21 year-old Filipino college student, taking up Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have so long been wanting to make something like this. thankfully, here it is. =) Well, more about myself, I love travelling a lot, ever since i was an infant, my parents would already bring me along with them during their travels. Maybe also because my mom and dad's hometowns are extremely far from each other. Dad's hometown is in a little town called Laguna, in the far Northern part of the Philippines while mom's is in Butuan City at the far, South-Eastern part. They made sure, they spend fair share of time with their families at least once a year every year, this explains the frequency of our travels. I love eating-though i look (and actually am) skinny LOL. Because I grew up in a family of really great cooks, I learned to really really love cooking as well. Sometimes I spend time in the kitchen an...
