A New Sunday

This is a post which I was supposed to post yesterday. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the laptop due to sibling rivalry LOL so here it is:

Today was a great day. Although I kinda started it in a bit "may sayad" way. It's because I arrived late in Church but the service earlier was a total blast. After church I always stay in dad's office to surf the net. LOL But recently I found a more productive way to spend my Sunday afternoon. I arranged a schedule with my friends to record songs every Sunday afternoon.

Today was our first recording session, although this wasn't the first time we recorded a song, but it was the first time we used the Mac book to record and had my childhood friend (and duet partner eversince) to record with us. I have really been wanting to have a condenser microphone but unfortunately I can't find one around. And I still don't have that much resources to purchase a high-end one. These stuff really come very expensive and I am still, only a student so I guess I have to wait. Mom wants to buy me one. Hopefully she will have the conviction. =D

By the way, have I mentioned that I'm a darn big fan of Gabe Bondoc? LOL He's this Youtube guy who I think, is as goofy as I am. He is a wonderfully talented musician whom I almost idolize because of his God-given talent. He's also a Christian like me and sings in the church - like me! I love his songs specially the ones he wrote. He inspired me to really do what I love doing: SINGING! Or should I say one of the handful stuff that I love doing (aside from cooking, photography, reading, painting, surfing the net, doing things that has to do with arts or food and so on). So much for that, this day is definitely a music day. Here is a sample of a song we recorded a few days back. =) Pardon me for showing my face only at the beginning and not in the rest of the song.

Gee, good thing tomorrow, I don't have a class but I have my hospital duty instead. I'm assigned in the Delivery Room tomorrow. The singing dude will be assisting mothers to deliver their baby. Hopefully I'll be able to complete my Delivery cases tomorrow.

Mom's already home, by the way. She just arrived from Manila for some business stuff. She's sick. The moment I arrived from recording, I went to mom's room to greet her. And I felt her high fever the moment I touched her. So I hurriedly grabbed some ice and a face towel to do tepid sponge bath and checked if she already took paracetamol which she just did when I arrived.

Her temp read 39 degrees. After a few minutes after I did Sponge bathing, her temp went down to normal. Sorry I had to include this. I sounded like as if I'm making a SOAPIE (SOAPIE by the way means Subjective cues, Objective cues, Assessment, Plan, Interventions and Evaluations which we make for our patients. I'm not giving a lecture here by the way =p)

So much for this day..
